wala cool pics-
that’s it brothers and sisters!
working the urban lands back to their roots collectively
I used exactly that method, cardboard and mulch, to turn my Victoria lawn into a lush vegetable garden, awhile back. Laid it down in late fall and by April the spade turned up an easy 12+” of rich soil. Most folks have no idea how easy it is to transform useless expensive lawn into food productive land.
Now in Vancouver, at 38th & Main and I’m looking at an even more glorious garden my second year at this location. From what had been a weed choked, junk strewn, neglected mess, emerged something truly magical.
Blessings on my beautiful brothers and sisters in the city creating gardens in the earth!!!When I have my hands in the soil here in the mountains of the Kootenays,I know we are all connected ,being part of the cycle of growing our food that sustains us ,learning and feeling the rhythm of life force, and creating a glorious future…….namaste, namaste, namaste Sylvan Anand
